Performance Techniques

The stage is often the making or breaking point for most musicians. In truth be known, most stage seasoned professionals become more comfortable on stage in front of thousands than in their own living room in front of five. Some of this comfort comes with experience, some comes from comfort level and much is a result of solid training. The Spaulding Method focuses on crucial areas that are vital to a good performance:
  • Mental Seasoning & Handling Nerves
  • Mic and Performance Techniques
  • Stage Presence (Capturing an audience and holding them)
  • Managing a set
  • Performance communication
  • Proper Warm-up and Preparation
  • Other important skills of the trade
Stage Performance Techniques are taught as an integrated part of the Spaulding Method but can also be instructed as a separate unit for individuals preparing for a specific performance.
