Brass is a fantastic family of instruments that often leaves players confused and calculating math every time they try to improvise or play with a band or group. The Spaulding Method rids this reality by breaking down brass into its natural acoustic key before transferring that knowledge to sheet music. General Note:
At your first lesson please bring a note pad or binder, writing utensil, stack of CDs, MP3s and or sheet music of songs you may desire to learn, or at least a list of song titles you as a student aspire to play. Based on this information, your teacher will compile a custom curriculum and timeline to accomplish your goals. This approach yields an extremely fast rate of learning for each student and just about guarantees their enjoyment of their learning process because each student plays an active role in creating their own learning curriculum.
