Bass Lessons

Bass in itself is a rapid instrument to learn and is made more rapid by teaching the conceptual components of the instrument before learning sheet music or other details that may at times tie down the development of a bass musician before they are ready. Sheet music is learned in every instrument in the Spaulding Method but is not the main emphasis of the method because quite frankly it is hard to find good sheet music for today's modern music. Because of Spaulding's unique approach to teaching bass, most Spaulding Method bass students are capable of keeping pace with a band well within 30 days of their first lesson.

General Note:
At your first lesson please bring a note pad or binder, writing utensil, stack of CDs, MP3s and or sheet music / tab music of songs you may desire to learn, or at least a list of song titles you as a student aspire to play. Based on this information, your teacher will compile a custom curriculum and timeline to accomplish your goals.
