Cyndi has a great passion for music with musical roots extending to the East Coast of Canada. She is a multitalented teacher and performing artist with an extensive number of years experience. She has completed formal music theory training at Mohawk College in Hamilton but makes lessons very fun and engaging for students of all ages by teaching them what they would like to learn. She believes that if a student loves what they are learning, they will be more willing to practice and progress much quicker.
She has had the good fortune of being able to work with and be tutored by some of Canada's most renowned Master Fiddlers such as Sandy MacIntyre, the late Jerry Holland, Natalie MacMaster, the Leahy's, Troy MacGillivray, Mark Sullivan, and Shane Cook to name a few. These exceptional fiddlers have been able to share with Cyndi there own unique musical skills, style and knowledge which has allowed her to develop her own personal style.
Cyndi performs regularly with many groups in and around Brantford. In February 2017 Cyndi helped arrange and produce her very first CD called 'Harvesting the Journey' inspired from the play 'Harvest'
